| I'm an assertive girl who knows how to make everyone smile and I'm always positive even during the hard times. Up for sale is one Annie Smith model without a diva attitude and sure to compliment any set or studio art scene you place her in. (Hey, they say to sell yourself, right?) Seriously folks, I've seen tons of people who say, "Oh, I'm a model and I'll be famous," only to find out later that fame is nearly impossible to achieve and takes a lot of free work before the magic even has the possibility of happening. So, I've been in the industry since 2005 and I've put my heart and soul into my career and only made $50 so far. So, aside from modeling, what do I do for a living? I run Hot Spot Executive where we repair and custom build computer systems. The main thing in life is to have fun and I feel that as long as you don't act fake and you let your personality shine, you're cut out for entertainment business.
What does being a model mean to you? I believe that a true model has an intimate connection with her kinesthetic sense and has the ability to make herself shine like no other. I believe that a true model is dedicated to her work no matter what the cost and one who is not afraid to say no to a major opportunity if she doesn't feel that she meets the qualifications in her own eyes because part of modeling is feeling happy and irresistible. Your true light can only shine if your mind, body, and spirit at at one with one another and you feel the rush that you're loved by everyone. You need that rush to be your best and to look and act your best. If you know you can't fail, you won't. If there is even a glint of feeling that you'll fail, you will. You'll only be the best when you say and feel that you are the best. To me, that is what modeling is all about. How long have I been modeling and how did I get into modeling? A guy had approached me to tell me I have great legs. I just thought he was trying to hit on me. He told me I should be a model and he gave me his card. So, I got my first position at Top Model. I have been modeling since July of 2005 on a very steady basis. What are your favorite styles of modeling and acting? I love to do all kinds of modeling and acting. In modeling, I especially enjoy fashion modeling and high fashion/runway modeling. As for acting, I love playing anything that presents me with the opportunity to show off my acting talents. No matter what the position, I almost always love it. What goals do you have in the entertainment industry? I'm in the entertainment business to enjoy myself. As long as I'm having fun, I'm happy. Yes, it's my career, but it's also something that makes my life complete. As long as I'm in a scene in some way, I'll feel on top of the world. All I want is the ability to shine. |
